Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coaches
Iowa Wesleyan College, located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa is accepting applications for one or two qualified soccer coaches to lead its men’s and women’s soccer programs.
Responsibilities for this coaching position include but are not limited to the ability and desire to develop and sustain a competitive soccer program within the conference and Midwest region, while having a strong understanding the of NCAA Division III rules and philosophies, recruitment and retention of student athletes using knowledge of Division III recruiting strategies and rules and the overall institutional enrollment goals of IWC. It is the coaches’ responsibility to organization and supervision of all practices and game management while complying with IWC and NCAA Division III Conference rules and regulations as well as the coordinating and scheduling of team travel.
Qualified applicants should hold at minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is preferred with coaching experience at the collegiate level. Candidates must be detail oriented with strong time management and organizational abilities, have excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive team vans. Travel, evenings and weekends availability is required.
