Being a part of the IWC Cheerleading Squad is a volunteer activity. Members are rewarded by the satisfaction of a job well done, lasting friendships formed among the squad, learning opportunities, and personal development. All members must have a commitment to the squad and program in order for it to be successful. Those interested in being a part of the cheerleading squad are asked to determine whether or not other outside activities and organizations will interfere with the ability to practice and perform to the highest expectations before making the commitment to the squad and the cheer season.
To promote, create, and uphold team spirit, pride and loyalty, develop good sportsmanship and relations in the community between teams and squads during events. The group promotes enthusiasm of spectators at athletic events.
