Assistant Professor Of Criminal Justice
Iowa Wesleyan College, a four-year liberal arts college in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in Criminal Justice to begin August 2014. The successful candidate should be a generalist, with the ability to teach undergraduate criminal justice courses at all levels.
A PhD by August 2014 in criminology, criminal justice, or a closely-related field is required.
Candidates for the position should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, and should be familiar with assessment, student mentoring, and advising. Applicants with experience in service learning and community outreach are desired.
