Lessons and Carols Service to be presented in Mount Pleasant

The Iowa Wesleyan College Choir and Mount Pleasant Chorale will present “How Still He Rests,” a service of lessons and carols, on Sunday, December 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium.
The ensembles are under the direction of Bradley Miller, assistant professor of music at Iowa Wesleyan College.
Highlights of the concert include performances of Harold Darke’s In the Bleak Mid-Winter, Tómas Luis de Victoria’s O Magnum Mysterium, and René Clausen’s arrangement of O Holy Night for chorus.
The evening will include candle-lighting and the singing of carols. A reception and tree lighting will follow. A $5.00 donation is requested at the door.
