Kiprop received the MCC weekly honor for the second time this season after winning the individual title at the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bee Invitational on Saturday. Kiprop completed the 8-kilometer race in 27:18 for his first win as a collegian.
Kiprop previously won the award Oct. 5 after finishing third at the Grand View Invite. He has finished in the top-five in four of the Tigers’ six meets this season.
The Wesleyan cross country teams next will compete in the Midwest Collegiate Conference championships Nov. 7 in Oskaloosa at the Lacey Sports Complex.
