IWC offering 12 day trip to China

Iowa Wesleyan College will be offering a 12-day educational and cultural tour of China in May 2011 through EF college study tours. Participants will discover the varied history of education in China, explore the Chinese culture, visit schools and see some of China’s most sacred sites. The twelve-day tour includes stops in Beijing, Shanghi, Xian, and Guilin.

The trip is open to Iowa Wesleyan College students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community. An informational meeting will be held on Monday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the International Room of the Library at Iowa Wesleyan College for all who are interested. A discount of $100 will be given for those who enroll for the trip by April 8, 2010.

Tentative trip dates are set for May 17 – 28, 2011. Iowa Wesleyan students who are enrolled full time in the Spring 2011 semester and participate in the trip will receive three credit hours for the Global Issues course. Additional information about the trip itinerary, transportation, lodging, meals, and pricing will be shared at the informational meeting on April 5.
