MOUNT PLEASANT – The 2010 Iowa Wesleyan College Basketball Fundamentals Camp for boys basketball players entering grades 5-8 has been scheduled for June 14-18 at Ruble Arena.
The camp will take place from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:15-3:30 p.m. on June 14-17 and will conclude with one session from 8:30-11:45 a.m. on Friday, June 18. The camp will be led by IWC Head Men’s Basketball Coach Alan Magnani, who has led the Tigers to three trips to the NAIA Division II National Tournament in his 14-year career and is the winningest men’s basketball coach in school history.
The camp will be devoted to offensive and defensive fundamentals and will include league games each day. Contests will be held throughout the week as well, and on Friday there will be camp all-star games and an awards presentation.
Cost of the camp is $90 for individual registrations received before May 28, or $80 each for family registrations received before May 28. Cost for campers registering after the early registration is $95, and registrations will be accepted through June 4. All campers participating will receive a camp T-shirt as well as individual instruction.
