MOUNT PLEASANT – The Iowa Wesleyan College football program has scheduled its media and photo day for Thursday, Aug. 19 at 9 a.m. in Mount Pleasant.
The media day will take place in downtown Mount Pleasant in Central Park, commonly referred to as the town square. Team and individual photos will be taken by Broeker Photography, and players and coaches will also be available for photos and interviews. The event is open to the public, open to media as well as parents, fans, friends, supporters and community members.
The Tigers open their 2010 season on Aug. 28 at Trinity International (Ill.) University in Deerfield, Ill. IWC will open the home portion of its schedule with the first-ever Old Threshers Bowl against Coe College on Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. at Evans Field at the Mapleleaf Athletic Complex. The Tigers are beginning their first season under new Head Coach Kent Anderson.
