Iowa Wesleyan College has been named to the 2012 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction by the Corporation for National and Community Service. The Honor Roll recognizes higher education institutions that reflect the values of exemplary community service and achieve meaningful outcomes in their communities. The selection to the Honor Roll is recognition from the highest levels of the federal government of Iowa Wesleyan’s commitment to service and civic engagement on its campus and in our nation.
Iowa Wesleyan College was one of five Iowa colleges and universities named to the Honor Roll with Distinction.
The Corporation for National and Community Service has administered the Honor Roll since 2006.
