The film “Prayers for Bobby” will be shown at the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium on Thursday, October 11, at 8:30 p.m. It is sponsored by the IWC student organization, On Common Ground.
The film depicts the true story of Bobby Griffith, who is trying to come to terms with being gay, and a mother torn between her loyalties, challenged by her faith and moved by a tragedy that would change her life, and the lives of others, forever.
The program is open to the public.
