MOUNT PLEASANT – The Iowa Wesleyan College women’s basketball program is currently taking registrations for its 2008 Girls Basketball Camp.
The camp will be held June 23-27 at Ruble Arena in IWC’s Howe Activity Center. The camp will include morning sessions all five days from 8:30 am-12 pm. The camp is for girls entering grades 5-8 and is headed by IWC women’s basketball Head Coach Steve Williamson.
The camp will focus on offensive and defensive fundamental instruction through station work and will also include individual instruction from coaches. Players will also participate in league games each day as well as other contests and games throughout the week.
The cost of the camp is $65, with registration being accepted through June 16. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt and basketball, and there will be daily prize drawings and giveaways as well. Registration forms and payment should be sent to:
