Exhibit to feature human costs of war

Eyes Wide Open Iowa: An Exhibition on The Human Cost of War in Iraq will be at Iowa Wesleyan College on Monday, March 16, 2009. The exhibit will be in the Ruble Arena of the Howe Activity Center from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

The exhibit features a pair of boots honoring each Iowa military casualty in the war in Iraq. According to organizers, the exhibit of military boots invites contemplation of the human cost of war.

This event is funded by the Haselmayer Endowment for the Arts at Iowa Wesleyan College. It is sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee.
