Sunday’s William Penn/Iowa Wesleyan baseball game in Mount Pleasant has been postponed due to the weather. No make-up date has been scheduled at this time.
Sunday's game is just the latest this weekend to fall victim to the snow, rain and cold that swept through southeast Iowa. Saturday's baseball games also were called off due to the weather, and the Iowa Wesleyan softball and track and field teams also did not travel to their respective events this weekend due to weather. The IWC softball team was scheduled to play in the Robert Morris Invitational in Bensenville, Ill., but did not make the trip. The Tiger track and field teams were scheduled to compete in the Augustana College Viking Olympics in Rock Island, Ill., but that event has been postponed until Monday, March 30th due to weather.
