Today’s Midwest Collegiate Conference baseball doubleheader between Iowa Wesleyan College and Clarke College scheduled to be played this afternoon in Peosta has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will attempt to play today’s doubleheader tomorrow afternoon at Clarke starting at 4 p.m. The single nine-inning game between the two teams, originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, will be rescheduled for another date.
The Iowa Wesleyan women's golf team also will not be traveling on Monday after the Clarke College Invitational in Peosta was cancelled due to rain and wet course conditions. The team's next meet will be the MCC Championships April 19-20 in La Crosse, Wis.
Also, the IWC softball team's games Monday at Clarke College have been postponed due to weather. The games have been rescheduled for this Wednesday in Dubuque at 5:30 p.m. The Tigers' softball doubleheader at William Penn University, a make-up date that had been rescheduled for this Friday, now has also been moved to 5:30 p.m. next Monday, April 20 in Oskaloosa.
