MOUNT PLEASANT – The Iowa Wesleyan College football team will begin its yearly sale of Varsity Gold Cards starting this Thursday, Aug. 27th.
IWC football players will sell the cards privately and will also make a public appearance to sell the cards Sunday, Sept. 6th at the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion in Mount Pleasant. The cards also will be available for purchase at the Tigers’ season opening game at home Saturday night against Trinity International University at 6 p.m. at Mapleleaf Stadium.
The cards will be sold for $20 and are on sale Aug. 27th-Sept. 7th. Per usual, the cards will offer discounts to many area businesses. The discounts can be used over and over for one year.
