Adding an SL Component to Your Course?
Members of the Iowa Wesleyan
College faculty have been incorporating a service-learning component to their
academic courses well before Iowa was even a State...ok, not that long. (Our
faculty have been doing this for a long time!)
Our Center’s goal is to continue working with faculty to attach a SL
component onto preexisting courses. The important thing to remember is that a
service-learning component can be added to just about any course in all academic
disciplines.
